Hi folks, sorry it’s been five months since my last blog and press release but family and personal health and well being became priorities for me (and still are) so couldn’t sustain a steady flow of ACTivities.
So what did we ACT upon in 2017 and what on the horizon?
ACT Robin Hood Campaign Initiative 2017/18 to tie in with new Robin Hood:Origins film being released in September 2018, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4532826/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Hood_(2018_film) Hoodwinked initiative & city Robin sculptures July-Sept http://www.hoodwinked2018.co.uk/. All to promote Nottingham/shire tourism to the World. https://www.visit-nottinghamshire.co.uk/ The ACT Robin Hood initiative is important because we are promoting our ACTing team, Nottingham/shire businesses and individuals who wish to get involved, and gain much international PR for themselves. ACT BLOG PT1 Since my NottsTV (WATCH), BBC Radio Nottingham (LISTEN) and Nottingham Post (READ) features in late November, I have been getting ready to move in and launch Art Culture Tourism's new HQ premises in The Hive on Union Street in Beeston.

Relaxing in readiness for Art Photographer Sara Gaynor’s 50th Birthday Bash at Beeston’s award-winning restaurant Roya on Wollaton Road, with best friend and fine artist Pam Miller. Well what a joyous celebratory occasion it was... fantastic company of about 30 of Sara’s friends and family with 1967 Summer of Love music flowing out continuously. Marvellous vegetarian Persian inspired food, impeccable personal service by Roya, and riveting conversations and laughter. So much singing along to those memorable songs of Donovan, Procol Harem, Beach Boys, Small Faces, Led Zeppelin, Beatles…..you get the picture, well hear the music! Pam and I were worn out come 10.30pm and slipped out leaving about 20 to have another blast of a party and disco dancing. There was a beautiful interlude when talented sitar player, Lance Hume, quietened us all down with his karma presence and music playing. Well, what a blast of Art, Culture and Heritage, as well as bracing walks on beaches, a holiday with friend, Marysia Zipser all crammed in during the early days of September, 2017! No doubt, it was to be expected, as Marysia is an Arts and Culture promoter and the founder of Art-Culture-Tourism (Beeston, UK and International), of which I am a member and represented artist. (I am a professional fine artist, painter, printmaker and mixed media artist.) Here is my page on the ACT website.
